Good stories are not the exclusive property of published writers and if you have a good story you can certainly write a book. Come to think of it, people with rather mediocre stories get to publish books and the reason for this is that they know . If you learn you can easily get your message and story out to the masses!
Start with the Story
Leave the word processor to the side and consider what story you have to tell. Maybe you have some very useful information about how to succeed in a certain area of life. The best books give something over whether it is a way to solve a problem or a feeling of awe and inspiration. If you are not big on imagination you should look to your own life and ask what happened in it that could be of interest and help for others to know about.
Beginning and End
A good technique for is to start with the beginning and end. You decide what the book will start off with and how it shall end. For a book that solves a problem you can think about a good punch line for the end and something that could lead to a sequel that will give over additional information.
The Chapters
The next step is to decide an approximate amount of chapters that you want to include and give brief summaries for what they should include and say. This is a crucial part of writing a book because the planning of chapters gives your book a structure which will make it easier to eventually write it and stay on top of the progress. You can also consult with someone you trust at this stage and ask if you should cut or add something to the story.
A Time Plan
Now it is time to write the story, chapter by chapter. If you don’t have the time and feel incapable of putting it all down in print you can pay a ghostwriter to do the job. With your chapter outline the ghostwriter can compose the text that will move the story forward and bring out your message. Try to set a time plan for the work and decide how many chapters a week that you need to finish.
When your book is ready you can read it over and see it as a whole. At this point it is easy to go back to the original structure and make additions and changes. Have friends that you trust look at it as well before you publish it to the masses!
